MELBOURNE'S beach kids swapped 100 degree Australian heat for the blizzards of Scotland - and boss George Campbell insists the shock can make them stars.

Former Aberdeen hero Campbell has brought his squad of teenagers back to his homeland to sample the nitty-gritty of footballing life here.
Campbell insists the wilds of our winter can be making of the kids and has thanked SPL clubs for providing heat and hospitality.
He said: "The boys' experience has been hampered a bit by the weather but they are all enjoying it. Half of the boys had never seen snow before. But we have improvised well and we've got a game against St Mirren today and Motherwell tomorrow.
"People have been so accommodating. The boys were at Celtic Park for the Inverness game and Ibrox for Rangers v Man United. They also loved being coached by Craig Brown at Motherwell.
"It's important these boys see what it's really like here. They have skill and ability but some have high aspirations and I want them to see what they are up against in Europe - the cold, the wet and the snow."
